最近はファンタジーと言えば「転生者」という世界の雑味がある作品ばかりで、こういったハイファンタジーは稀有になってきている。
エルフとの冒険はよくあれど、人間側からの視点・生き方を描かれているけど、エルフ側から見ると、近しい人が気付けば亡くなっていくというのは、かなりズシリと重く感じるが、これも見ている自分が人間だからの感じ方なのかもしれない。
無機質だったフリーレンが人間を知っていき、感情豊かになっていく物語だとするとエモい。
科学が進歩するように、魔法も進歩するというのは、ありそうであまり無い演出ですよね。
良くあるラノベ作品とか、『最強賢者のオレが千年後に転生して魔法で無双します』みたいなのって、実際なら『最強賢者のオレが１０００年後に転生したら時代遅れの最弱でした』くらいの事になっててもおかしくないんですよねｗ

時間を超えてしまう切ない物語のアニメは、10年に一作品ぐらいの割合で名作を出している、、だと思う。

フリーレンが人間の時間感覚を知ってはいたけど理解をしていなかった様に、エルフの時間感覚を知ってはいたけど理解はしていなかった事をこの作品を見て気付かされました。。
他の作品でエルフが出てきたら、どんな過去や未来があるのだろうと、以前にも増して考察してしまいます。
