This anime and, by extension, Nujabes shaped so much of my formative years especially my taste in music. Listened to all his albums after that. It got me through a lot of tough times too. Didn’t know he was already gone from the world way back, I cried when zi found out.

Music based anime is dominated by idol shows and now a fair amount of rock band anime. So an anime following the life of a rapper or even a rap group would be interesting.
