Man we really did spend the first half of the episode getting back to the end of season 1.

At least we got to see Rio being a badass during that time.

It’s interesting how Rio is trying to maintain his distance with people who are reincarnated, slowly building up to saying who he is. I wonder if saying “I am your brother” will be the ending reveal or something that will happen early. Season 1 moved at a lightning fast pace so if that continues it would be like episode 3 or so.

Still it’s going to be really hard for a man on the run after kidnapping the bride of the new king to really provide much support until he flees to the beastmen or the Karasuki kingdom

“You haven’t taken a bath yet!”

In other words, it’s ok to do it after the bath, right?

i forgot everything happened on season 1 , gonna need to watch a recap or something

    4. Damn they really just deleted best girl from existence. She’s not in either op or ed.

Talking about the girl who confessed to him in not japan village and got rejected.

    5. The beginning confused me – and it’s been awhile since season 1

Haruto IS her childhood friend and Akis older brother, right?

    6. I remember not thinking too highly of S1 but after rewatching it honestly it’s not *so* bad. And I had totally forgotten about how the season ended, it is always nice to see a show with a crazy cliffhanger get more episodes.

Same studio as S1 so with any lucky it will at least still look decent lol…

*Looks the same which is good. A nice start but I was a bit confused about the explanation for the lightbeams and what not. My assumption was that the beams were the isekaied kids but I guess those were some other people/beings? And the kids that were introduced this episode weren’t anywhere near the lights, is that right?

As usual probably the worst part of this show/story is the harem stuff. There’s like 10 girls that could legitimately be the MC’s wife but he’s still like 15 or something and none of it will ever go anywhere(i assume). At least we have *Reincarnated Aristocrat* this season showing us it IS possible to lock it down and make progress.

    7. I’m watching the English dub on Crunchyroll and there’s this weird audio echo when certain characters speak. Driving me crazy. Did anyone else experience this?

    8. I wonder if Haruot totally misunderstand Miharu’s situation with Takahisa. I think he assumed he was her boyfriend and she’d totally moved on from him and their childhood marriage promise, but it seems like Takahisa is just really friendly?

Is that Haruka Tomatsu as Satsuki? Is she really in another Matsuoka show? Not that I mind, Satsuki seems really fun. And she, Takahisa, Miharu, and two kids immediately get reincarnated!

The OP is pretty fun and action-packed, filled with Rio’s adventures (with silver hair!), the Heroines, and all manner of intrigue.

(But wait, Rio reincarnated as a college student while they were transported on literally the first day of high school…hmm)

Does Aishia have some kind of mental connection to Miharu?

Rio literally JUST eloped with runaway bride Celia, and now he has to go save his first love from another life who just got kidnapped to be sold as slaves! But watching Rio make short work of slave traders and make the boss pee himself was worth it!

Rio just couldn’t resist introducing himself as Haruto, huh? Though not only is he reunited with Miharu, but also his little sister Aki, who stayed behind with their mom after the divorce. And now he has a half-brother in Masato! Though it’s got to be weird knowing how detached he tries to be from when he was Haruto. Also, why does Aki look angry when she thinks about her big brother?

I totally forgot that there was an actual language in this setting…good thing an Aishia kiss can bridge the gap! Also I guess that echo reverberation is what everyone is actually saying?

Rio knows what it means to be Japanese, so of course everybody wants to take a bath! And is it just me or do Miharu and Aishia have the same size breasts?

Imagine seeing your former magic teacher and a girl of nobility in middle school gym clothes. Though don’t sell you wedding dress Celia! You should keep it for when you and Rio get hitched.

So why were all these people transported? Is it connected to the Six Warriors who will fulfill the destiny of the Six Wise Gods? How does Rio connect to that?

Celia already flexing her Main Heroine status by making sure Rio doesn’t go to bed with another girl, even if that’s just business as usual for him and Aishia.

The ED is pretty cute and serene, with Rio, the princess, the businesswoman, and all the ladies in his life together…and girls after girls after girls…and some guys.

    9. It looks like I’ll have to find and reread all of my comments from the previous episode threads to refresh my memory because other than Rio’s backstory at the start and how he crashed Celia’s wedding at the end of Season 1, I can’t remember much about this show. >_<

I’m so happy this is back. I’m such a sucker for this series, idk why.
This is one of my top shows this season. Can’t wait for more.
And I enjoyed seeing the new vfx for the magic done. The space teleportation spell and the fire/ light magic had alittle more flashiness to them.

    11. Celia best girl, that’s for certain. Unfortunately for her though she has an immense amount of competition for Rio.

Compared to the end of S1 they retread a bit of the same ground to show the rescue, felt a bit like how Slime S1 to S2 redid a bit of content in what I assume was a similar case of not knowing they’d get to do another season.

I’m curious what the deal with Aishia and Miharu will end up being, I can remember both when watching season 1 and on my recent rewatch assuming they were somehow the same character, and then Miharu herself shows up for real. Might still be true and some time stuff goes on, we did have that brief shot of Aishia sensing them with an overlay of Miharu’s character design.

The isekai language along with Japanese dub threw me off a bit ngl. It’s like watching really expensive fan dub over the official language lol. Hopefully it is a 1-2 episode thing, as they can literally link the language.

I got hit with a PTSD with the demon lord retry, and when first shown the past life first. But thankfully this is actually a nice episode 1.

It’s interesting that he recognized his childhood friend faster than he recognized his own sister

I really need to get used to them speaking in two different languages, The overlapping languages are a bit jarring.

    15. Watched this when this aired, I remember pretty much nothing. When watching this episode I kinda remembered that intro with the move out, but only very dimly…

Even after reading a summary of S1, I still don’t remember practically anything.
