    1. I wasn’t sure if I was going to watch this, but I said fuck it why not? Glad I did because this was aggressively rad as fuck.

Charisma builds are awesome when the world mechanics allow it.

    2. They did an Uno reverse of MC’s buying slaves as companions and selling them instead.

MC is a fucking savage, love to see it. Grandpa taught him well. Is Walter going to take up farming or what?

Seeing Lloyd and Tanya reveal their true colours and get their retribution was satisfying, but I am more impressed by Noel’s guts, as well as ability to think on the spot, to negotiate with the mafia, obtaining a higher sales price. (Although I think he shouldn’t push his luck everytime, lest the mafia’s patience runs thin.)

That was brutal, but those two did it to themselves. They screwed over their party members, they reaped what they sowed.

    6. I know slavery is pretty common in anime but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an mc sell his own former comrades into slavery just so he could profit off of it.

Though maybe that was the kinder option lol. Prison sounds way worse and I honestly didn’t like their chances of surviving on their own. Tanya was an egotistical gambling obsessed nut job who clearly didn’t actually like Lloyd.

She seriously thought she could’ve made back her losses if she just kept gambling. That’s a genuinely insane thought. She’d have definitely gotten them killed on the road or used her powers to become a worse criminal.

Also, just had to love how self righteous she got about Noel using his powers to force a confession out of her.

    7. “Do you want to get kicked instead? I dont discriminate against women” Bro is savage, but I dont blame him, those two were assholes. Hope we see them later having fun as slaves.

    8. Lesson of the story is gamble only with your own money. The MC is so calculating, while Walter is the more soft-hearted one.

    9. [Where the fuck did this Jojo character come from?](https://i.imgur.com/IuSuhOh.jpeg) And of course, he’s voiced by Koyasu. Yeah, that checks out. xD

That was totally unexpected though! [I didn’t think Noel would actually sell them to slavery.](https://i.imgur.com/eAqdpqa.jpeg) I do appreciate brutal MCs who don’t think twice about dishing out harsh punishments. With that big guy quitting and the other two now slaves, I wonder where Noel goes from here. I guess he’s going to recruit new party members?

    10. This is so edgy i cut myself a few times.

      Kinda amusing tho

e: to whoever sent the reddit care, fair enough

First episode was very underwhelming. Started watching today thinking this would be my first drop of the season. I was wrong. If it continues like this, I will continue watching. Massive improvement over the first episode.

I liked Walter. Was expecting him to be an asshole, but ended up being loyal. Expectations subverted.

    12. Damn, absolutely brutal. Noel didn’t just get their money back, he made a profit. People were wondering if he was going to be the type of character to really get revenge, and now we know.

    13. Do not read nor the novel nor the manga adaptation (that is more far ahead), but i liked these two episodes, expecially the last one, after the anime will end there will not be probably a second season so i can continue with the manga at least.

    14. I knew Noel didn’t have the money, and he would use some kind of trick to get it, but damn, I never thought it would be this way.

I was a bit concerned the pace was going too fast and things might seem too abrupt, but it appears from comments people are actually appreciating the events themselves nonetheless.

    16. The whole bartering segment made me blush, that’s not how things work, specially not against someone supposed to be experienced in negotiations. But of course it would happen, though. Just being merciless and selling his old friends into slavery isn’t enough to sell Very Smart™ MC, he must come out on top in everything. And let’s ignore he got scammed leading to this whole situation.

    17. Funny how the first visual that came out, people were hating the shit out of this show

And now that we get a savage, no holds-barred, ambitious MC, they turn the other ass cheeks

This is so fucking edgy that it becomes comedy. Also what’s up with the audio? Did they record this over discord or something?
