I guess Akane and Aqua are official now huh? Poor Kana.

It almost feels like Aqua’s revenge has been passed onto Ruby. It did a real number of Aqua, I’m not sure Ruby can handle bearing that kind of hate. It changes a person. Her eyes are already changing…

Another solid season. They really cranked up the mystery towards the later half. I’m very keen to see how they resolve this whole Goro situation. Plus, that asshole at the end’s struck again. Who was that woman? Maybe she got too close to learning about what he did or maybe she was involved in another one of his little dalliances? The little fucker needs to be stopped….

    2. About Telling on your Classmates

If there’s something common among all Japanese grade schoolers, it’s the culture of telling on their classmates for doing something they shouldn’t be doing. So much so that even though there’s no “official” song for it, and the lyrics differ ever so slightly from region to region, for some reason the melody for this children’s tune is pretty much the same in every grade school throughout the entire country of Japan. [It goes something like this.](https://ibb.co/FJjqPXx)
      “You’re in trouble
      You’re in trouble
      I’m gonna tell the teacher!”

      About Kujūkuri Beach

Kujūkuri Beach (Kujūkurihama) is [a sandy beach located in Chiba Prefecture.](https://ibb.co/v4CpN86) It is around 60km long, and is relatively straight, in contrast to the typically irregular coastlines of Japan. It is sometimes called the Kujukuri Coastline due to its similarity to the Australian Gold Coast.

      About Ema
Ema 絵馬 (lit. Picture-Horse), are small wooden plaques/tablets in which Shinto and Buddhist worshippers write prayers or wishes. They are left hanging up at the shrine to act as a medium through which the wishes and needs of supplicants may be made known to the figures of worship enshrined there.

      About Offline/Online Editing

In video production, video editing is done after filming is complete. There are two parts in the editing phase:
Offline editing refers to the creation of a rough cut of a video using low-quality footage. Editors use this draft to make various decisions like determining the sequence of the shots, timing of the cuts, as well as pacing of the whole video, among many other decisions.

Online editing occurs after offline editing. It refers to the creation of a final cut and involves adding final touches using high-quality (preferably uncompressed) footage. Editors work on tasks like sound editing, sound design, color correction and color grading, as well as any required special effects, all of which contribute towards a polished final product.

[Once again, I’ll see you all in Season 3!](https://x.com/anime_oshinoko/status/1842874944361050158)

    3. Holy shit, I can’t tell who that girl is but you can’t just end the season on a scene like [that](https://imgur.com/a/sb00qRt) (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

There are a lot of ticking bombs, like Akane’s dilemma of keeping Aqua as her bf, Kana not knowing that yet, Ruby knowing from that weird ghost girl (who I’ll say is Akasaka lol) and what happens if she knows Aqua is Sensei? Good grief!

    4. That Pop In Music Video is such… an amazing thing…. it leaves you with happy-ish-craziness feeling inside. I feel I saw this before somewhere, but the type of cute-sy type of MV with a mix of creepiness in it. Ruby’s black stars is the feature of this episode, and probably for the next parts of this series. The baton has been unconsciously passed.

    5. It would be cruel to end this season with distorted Ruby and distorted ending so they gave us season 3!

but man, that Burning ED with broken record video, Dark Ruby in their MV, and the killer dad, I dont know how to feel. I hope Ruby’s wished comes true, so she could blink. she never blink with her dark hoshingan.

Akane, she should already know how Aqua brain works by now.

    6. Big thanks to the comment on the S3 announcement thread for telling me to watch the final episode first before seeing the new announcement visual.

One revenge ends, another begins. It’s like, Aqua and Ruby (and Akane) are just so close to seeing the whole picture if they just filled each other in on the details, but at the same time fear what would happen if they did just that.

    7. I like how Ruby connected the dots and realized what Aqua was doing all this time. But since Aqua has sort of “given up” at the moment, looks like Ruby will push him somehow, since Akane is hesitant. Season 3 can’t come soon enough.

Oh, and poor Kana. Just can’t stop racking up those L’s…

    8. There’s so many things going into season 3

      1) how does Kana deal with the official relationship between Aqua and Akane?

      2) Ruby doesn’t know that Aqua has given up on finding the “person who caused Ai to die” based on her prayer. She says “I hope my brother finds him quickly”

      3) Still trying to figure out who white haired dark aura crow loli is.

      4) Will Aqua and Ruby finally have a conversation about this “finding our dad” situation. They could easily work together on this but Aqua keeps her completely in the dark about everything, but Ruby is now starting to come around with the information she needs

      5) Will S3 be the season they finally reveal to each other their identities from their past lives? I think Aqua has a feeling she’s Sarina based on him accidentally saying her name in S1 E1 and her waking up saying “did you call me?”

      6) Where will this new influx of popularity take B-Komachi and how will Rubys new dark demeanor affect them?

      7) What is their dads reasoning and end game with his involvement in AI’s murder

      8) Who was the woman at the end of the show after the ED, why’d she have to die?

      There’s a lot, I can’t wait for S3 to uncover more

Find out on the next episode of Dragon Ball Z

    9. Another episode that has me swiftly changing emotions while watching it.

      * When Akane is conflicted in her thoughts and crying and then Aqua kisses her, that touched my heart.
      * And then I felt suspense when Ruby is now vowing for revenge and that tear falling in the river turns into darkness.
      * Then, we have the B-Komachi music video, which was a fairly positive note to end this season on…
      * Oh wait, there’s a post credit scene that’s made me more suspenseful for S3 (announced earlier today). The guy from 2 episodes ago at the graveyard appears to have murdered someone in the wilderness.

    10. Ruby really had a better Mangekyo awakening than Sarada… That is crazy

Like if this was Naruto, it would actually be top tier.

The lead up to it and the illustration both in Manga and Anime was perfect.

    11. Goddamn, dark eyes Ruby’s falling into the dark side. It’s like a birth of the villainess.

    12. Did I hear it right? Aqua and Ruby’s dad was in middle school when he did it with Ai and had her killed nearly a year later?

    13. It’s just sad seeing how the normally cheerful and positive Ruby in such despair. She doesn’t have the same brain as Aqua to exact revenge. She can only wish for Aqua to do it. I don’t know what had developed for Ruby the time skipped half year but it’s definitely something sad.

And that last part…That means there are many more victims other than Ai right?

    14. destgecakemaste on

peak cinema no words. aquas reveal, the blackening of ruby’s eyes, music during the crow talk, and almost missed the ending scene

    15. Mana_Croissant on

I don’t know which is more ironic. Aqua letting go of his revenge because of thinking that a guy who is still alive is dead or Ruby inhering that same revenge because of not knowing his doctor is (technically) still alive and right there with her

    16. you’re kidding. every time you see ruby and her dark eyes, it makes me sad man. but what a season, i might actually prefer S2 over S1 somehow.

    17. I saw someone on twitter say this and thought it was nice: Aqua had one star eye for revenge of Ai, but Ruby has two star eyes because of revenge for Ai and “Sensei”.
