I quite liked **Isekai Shikkaku**. But feel conflicted, as I love the depressed and suicidal Dazai, but the comedy take made me feel weird.
I have no idea how to describe it. Feels both tinglingly weird and enjoyable.
I think I would have preferred for it to have taken a more serious tone, as sometimes I felt the drama to be offputting, but enjoyed it overall nonetheless.
Though Dazai is really the main reason.

Also loved dearly **Oshi no Ko** and **Makeine**, the latter needs to be specially addressed, as I would have never imagined it would get such incredible and phenomenal adaptation. As a source reader, it honestly brings tears to my eyes.

Last couple of Oshi no Ko episodes have been great. I feel like it has finally gone back from being an ordinary drama to being a real mindfuck.
Vtuber had a good showing for the finale but deserved better. Under 7.0 on MAL is wild. Hopefully it continues to get attention with word of mouth. It dropped off a bit for me after the explosive premiere but it was still plenty fun all season.
No idea what the charts are going to look like next week…

Just finished watching Yozakura’s latest episode a few minutes ago, and man it’s so underwatched. It’s not groundbreaking by any means but it’s certainly a bit higher than where it’s at now.
Seems the Top 2 stayed the same the whole way. And I can hardly disagree.
Mayopan also punched its way up a few ranks. I think while slightly rushed, it nailed the ending and it’s certainly in line with what the show is about.

can anyone tell me if i gave up wistoria 3/4 episodes in because I felt the characters were sorta one note and story was not that interesting if things changed? Like if you were unsure of the show did it win you over. Gteat animation is not enough for me to check out a show anymore

Man Yatagarasu was so close and banner having a top-tier Female character in Hamayuu.
Honestly, this season has been an excellent one for anime adaptations of games. NieR Automata anime has been beyond outstanding. Matching the quality of both Monogatari & Yatagarasu for me. Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin has been a super fun sweet show. With some really sweet writing. Atri: My Dear Moments despite being based off a Visual Novel has been fantastic. Pacing is a lil fast these past two episodes, but has been great at fleshing out Natsuki & Atri. Also, its finale is next week, so those looking to binge can join us for discussion of that. Atri, Nadeko Sengoku, Shinobu, Sensei, Yukiya, Komari A2 & Senya have been some of the best characters we have gotten this season. All with great arcs & writing.
As for shows that are continuing into 2.5 Dimensional Seduction has been a fun one. It dives into the cosplay theme much more than My Dress Up Darling, so it does well with that. Also, Senokgu Youko. I do worry about animation since Re:Zero airs as well, and it is the same team working on both. But the story is so good and the animation serves as good enough. Though will probably read the manga after to see how it compares to the anime.

Damn. So many shows ended this week, huh? Season 2 of **Spice and Wolf** and **Wistoria** already announced. We also have a new film announced for **Senpai is an Otokonoko**.
This is the last time **Yatagarasu** will appear here. So if anyone out here who still hasn’t watched the show, pls give this one a try. You will not regret it.
**Oshi no Ko** performing even better than the previous episode. Easily one of the best shows this season. Sadly we have to wait till next Sunday for the finale after that insane cliffhanger.

I recommend giving Mayonaka Punch a chance. It’s fun and has an actual good ending, which seems to be rare for anime originals.

The Top 5 shows this week all increased karma from last week and I’m happy to see【Oshi no Ko】S2 back over 3k karma with 3375 karma for Episode 12, Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! with a minor +72 boost to 2.6k karma, Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF and Wistoria: Wand and Sword had a 507 and 603 increase in karma from last week which put them both above 1.6k karma, and My Hero Academia S7 with a Top 5 spot and back over 1k karma.
It’s nice to see shows like Mayonaka Punch and VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral After Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream get Top 15 placements in their last episodes. YATAGARASU: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master barely missed out on 15th which is unfortunate.

Glad **Ossan Newbie Adventurer** managed to get top 10 for its final episode. Despite the weak start, this anime managed to get steam and be really moving and entertaining after a couple episodes.
And **Yatagarasu** nearly top 15 with 11 ranks jump! Deserved for such a good anime, but sad it was underwatched.

I’ve just started My Hero. When I was visiting Japan it just looked like a goofy kids show and I couldn’t understand why people were obsessed with it. I can honestly say I’m very glad to have been proven wrong. It’s fun and enjoyable.

While there were definitely some good anime out there this season and plenty of hidden gems, the lack of power at and near the top ended up making this season the lowest Karma season since the shutdown and the second lowest Karma season overall, barely beating out Winter 2020.
