I know people are hoping for Fukushi, Saitou and Evan Call to be back, but don’t sleep on [Seiko Yoshioka](https://anilist.co/staff/127377/Seiko-Yoshioka). She played an integral part with the backgrounds in the show.

Glad for an actual announcement, Frieren is one of the best anime in years and with madhouse returning, hopefully season 2 can maintain the same quality

expected a bigger gap of time between seasons taking into account the pacing of the manga and the hiatus it had for a while. But i assume they gona end in a certain arc and let manga go for a while so its okay. Just means season 3 will have a larger gap until they do it.

really hope Keiichirou Saitou come back to direct, since he did a great job with the first season. He’s not attached to anything coming out in the future just yet, but I’m pretty certain Bocchi the Rock will also get a second season. Hopefully the two projects don’t intersect too much. Maybe Boochi S2 is still more than 2 years away, given how many Cloverworks series have already been announced for 2025 plus some without a release year.
