Personally, I’d rate Demon Slayer higher than Frieren or Dungeon Meshi.

there’s no way DS can come close to these 2 in terms of fantasy , I am still not recovered on DS winning over Made in Abyss S2 which was the best fantasy/dark fantasy that year

It’s my guess but I think crunchyroll voting is very recency biased. And also mainstream anime always come on top in these votings. So very less chance for a netflix only anime like Dungeon meshi or Frieren to win. Personally, Dungeon Meshi deserves it.
