No. That’s not how any of it works. You’re confusing introversion with social anxiety. Introverts have no problem going out and making friends. They just feel a bit socially exhausted afterwards and have to refresh by being by themselves at home for a while.

Nobody becomes more extraverted than an introvert in a group of other introverts all excitedly talking about a subject they are all obsessed with, anime, gaming, sports, etc etc.

I can confirm that is indeed how it works but after a while they’ll seem very extroverted with that person or group of people but don’t expect them to be like that for others they kinda gotta be dragged into friendships
