As someone who hasn’t read the source material, all I’m really hoping from S2 of the anime is just a tad more focus on world building and characters, a touch more of story.
S1 was basically an MC training arc from start to finish. And while I enjoyed it quite a bit, I’d like to see the show become more than just the MC playing a glorified video game.
Gonna watch it anyway though. The production values were quite insane.
That final big fight? God fucking damn that was some sexy animation.

The art looks much more crisp with think outlines. I don’t think previous season had that. Compositing artist is still the same, I wish Waki would’ve joined to do the compositing instead but this is still great.
Now I’m wondering how much this season will adapt. They can’t possible cover Jeju Island in this one right? But a credible leaker is saying they are.
Also I’m very much interested in the future seasons bcoz after Jeju Island arc, the Manhwa rushed the novel bcoz of the artist’s bad health. Almost everything after that was rushed. The artist health was soo bad to the point he passed away 6 months after finishing the Manhwa. But if anime is following novel instead of manhwa, I’m curious how much new stuff we will see that Manhwa skipped. Maybe even a different ending?

I am looking forward to continue watching this anime (though I treat it like movie popcorn).
What heights of edge will this story reach? More twisted villains and more “shadow/evil” costumes for the protagonist.
