Ramiris and Rimuru are just playing ~~house~~ Gods with the dungeon

create this, delete that, kill this, revive that

    2. ObvsThrowaway5120 on

Ramiris was the star this week on That Time I Built My Own Dungeon lol. Rimuru got pretty ambitious with his little dungeon simulator. Guy even managed to convince Veldora to be the dungeon overlord. Big fella has his manga and can cut loose in his natural form. Felt like bro was holding in a massive fart when he finally got to transform lol.

Keen to see what Milim’s gonna bring to the party.

    3. WhoiusBarrel on

Rimuru making Veldora, a well-known entity of destruction, the last boss of his attraction is both such a flex and peak comedy development.

      >Rimuru: Damn how do we add terrain effects?

      >Milim: Simple. Just add more dragons in the labyrinth innit?

I wouldn’t even be surprised if they went in that direction at this rate.

    4. Ramiris showing why she is still considered a demon lord even after losing her original powers. She is basically god in her labyrinth

From Zoom meetings to now a Rougelike ungeon crawler

We have moved up in the world

    6. ussgordoncaptain2 on

Ramiris builds a dungeon, seemingly so Veldora can release his aura from the start of the season and also to be a tourist attraction. The cave had lots of strange things seemingly because veldora was releasing magic into the air, so having a place where that get’s concentrated is nice.

Also the fact that you can take many of the buildings and hide them in the dungeon makes for a great Slum

Ramiris goes “alright time to test extremely unproven dangerous tech let’s go with the girl who can’t die!”

    7. SnabDedraterEdave on

This feels like an episode from the Tensei Slime Diaries slice of life spinoff than the main series. Not that I’m complaining.

Already Rimuru has gone from building infrastructure (he was a manager in a construction company in his previous life after all) to becoming a de-facto game developer with Ramiris’ new dungeon, assigning Veldora to become its last boss, and monetizing it to attract adventurers to come and have fun while also building up their skills.

He even thought of save points and respawn points for adventurers so they don’t have to worry about dying or losing their progress.

    8. Let’s hope they don’t get a party that tries to game the dungeon by eating the monsters. (looking at you, Dungeon Meshi gang)

    9. Lezz go!!!

Guillidora finally got his room where VampirexDragon seggs will happen /s /jk (lmao this didn’t happen and just a joke)

I expected Veldora’s room more wider than this but it just might be the perspective

poor beretta tho always guinea pig of Treyni and Ramiris tho she’s happy at the end Ramiris becoming her owner and that’s fine

Lmao watching this live in muse is fun

there’s slime enjoyers, hate bot spammers and Ramiris armpit lickers lmao

    10. so it means that when the people got back to the check point, they will immediately fight against floor boss?

    11. monkeystaff on

This episode a great example of the world building for slime. Really love how all the powerful character are using the power in creative ways

    12. Woooo! Milim’s finally back!!!

I really hope Rimuru isn’t actually sticking Veldora at the bottom of the Labyrinth just to get rid of him. I have a feeling no one is ever going to make it to him. Hopefully Rimuru holds events where getting to Veldora is easier and even if you don’t beat him you still get a prize.

Little concerned about all the crazy strong weapons Rimuru is going to introduce into the world as “loot” from the dungeon.

Well damn, Ramiris isn’t weak, her power is just highly specialized, her labyrinths are nuts!!! And Rimuru comes up with some terrifying traps, the pitfalls and arrow traps are one thing, you can avoid them if you’re paying attention, but a room that just sucks all the air out is mean!

      THE MOVIE IS CANON!!!!

    13. Frontier246 on

It’s surprisingly quick to put a coliseum together when we get most of Tempest to chip in, including the Beastketeers! Now it’ll be all ready by the time of the festival!

And the underground labyrinth courtesy of Ramiris is also coming together, along with the new refugee camp location! Rimuru loves it when a plan comes together.

The next thing on Rimuru’s to-do list…finally giving Veldora a job! Who better to play the Final Boss of the Dungeon than our resident Storm Dragon? The best part is it lets him finally release his power, lets him play the “bad guy,” and his magicule release will naturally populate the dungeons with monsters! It’s a win-win!

And Veldora even gets his own room in the Final Boss chamber complete with a fine bed and all the manga he could possibly want. Ramiris is even getting to enjoy the room! It’s just that perfect!

Nothing relaxes a dragon more than transforming into their natural form and blowing their load in the process, with destructive results. But at least Veldora is finally satisfied and Rimuru can use the Magicule release to get some magisteel ore for Tempest in the process. Another win-win!

So the 100-level dungeon is complete! They can even restructure and rearrange everything to keep things interesting, along with your typical save points (guarded by tough monsters). And there’s a one-use rebirth bracelet for any adventurers who end up biting it in the dungeon! Which they perfected by having Treyni kill poor Beretta. Ramiris is the only one that doesn’t feel any shame about this.

Speaking of Beretta, at this point it just makes sense to transfer her loyalty fully to Ramiris, because that’s whom she wants to serve and that’s basically what she’s been doing. And she, Ramiris, and Treyni make quite the cute family in their own way.

And thanks to Ramiris’ magic they can pepper the dungeon with every trap imaginable (including a pretty hardcore one of an airtight room). The only thing they can’t do is environmental changes to the dungeon…but Rimuru’s bestie has got him covered, as Milim finally returns with a plan to use dragons to spice up this dungeon!

    14. I love the shots of Souka in the OP as the tournament announcer, gives me Yu Yu Hakusho demon tournament vibes.

This labyrinth plan is killing a lot of birds with one stone. Tempest gets a tourist attraction that will bring an adventurers, Veldora gets a place to live where he can release his aura, and Ramiris’ abilities with the labyrinth in general give a lot of tactical advantages in case of disaster. And there’s even resurrection in this dungeon? I was kind of wondering about the safety of the whole setup.

There was a brief shot of some other kingdom when they were talking about importing iron ore, I think it was the one from the movie?

I love the Ramiris and Milim content so this is really shaping up to be a great part of the season for me.

      “Construction complete. New construction options…”

      Summary of this episode.

    16. I was wondering how they were gonna handle deaths in the dungeon when they make it as hard as this sounds.

also Veldora as the final floor boss? good luck to anyone who makes it that far

I’m glad that [the colosseum is pretty much done.](https://i.imgur.com/PtnEKCt.jpeg) I was worried they might spend a few episodes trying to figure out the logistics of making a stadium with a labyrinth underneath. I do like that [they showed us a little montage](https://i.imgur.com/9MBwtFr.jpeg) of how they built the colosseum though.

So all of the treasures that Rimuru will leave inside the dungeons [are all weapons made by Kurobe.](https://i.imgur.com/5lkyBES.jpeg) I just hope this doesn’t bite them back in the ass though. [That curse sword](https://i.imgur.com/QD2SkWR.jpeg) and [curse armour](https://i.imgur.com/jmHDbJQ.jpeg) sounds like they could be dangerous in the right hands despite the massive drawbacks.

As for the monsters, [it looks like Rimuru is leaving that to Veldora.](https://i.imgur.com/KWxRwL0.jpeg) He’s basically turning him into the last boss of the dungeon and the monster generator of the dungeon thanks to his high-density magicules. When did we go from a city-builder to a dungeon-building anime? xD

[The dungeon is way more sophisticated](https://i.imgur.com/mjAU6HF.jpeg) than I expected. I feel bad for any shmuck who tries to map out the dungeon on their own. And it looks like Rimuru doesn’t have to worry about adventurers dying left and right thanks [to Ramiris’ Armband of Rebitth.](https://i.imgur.com/zyVnj8t.png) They’ve really turned this into a video game now.

It’s so good to see [Veldora in his dragon form again.](https://i.imgur.com/SsfUs5j.jpeg) It was also a nice reminder of how powerful Veldora is considering [how Rimuru struggled to defend](https://i.imgur.com/arceSvl.jpeg) against him releasing his magicules.

[Scarlet Bond movie referenced!](https://i.imgur.com/s5I7IH9.jpeg) I’m glad to see that the Kingdom of Raja is referenced even just for a little bit. No mention of Towa though.

[Milim is here to play!](https://i.imgur.com/behTCXj.jpeg) I’m so happy to see her again and it looks like she has the solution for Rimuru’s request of adding terrain inside the dungeon.

Veldora no longer needs to stay pent up! He can just let it out whenever he feels the need for release, the guy is going to have so much more energy than he already does now lol. I bet he’s missed being in dragon form and now he has his own room to laze around and read manga.

Kurobee’s become such a big deal with his crafting skill, the fact that he can create cursed items now, his personality does not make him seem like the kind that could.

It was interesting to learn more about Ramiris’ labyrinth, there’s so much thought being put into it and Tempest is definitely going to become an even more big deal with how versatile and unique the labyrinth will be. It will probably be some time, but I’m sure once the first person reaches Veldora, the news that you can find the Storm Dragon is going to bring even more people further to want to try their hands at fighting the legendary dragon.

    19. VorAtreides on

Whelp, that sure didn’t take long to build the arena, har. Teamwork! Ramiris really is deceptively OP. Hey look, the dude made Berserk armor, lolz. Well, not quite, but same concept in power. Weeb sword, get!

Veldoura finally getting his own place. He’ll also finally get to bust his aura all over the place 😉 heh. Wow, Veldoura’s got a nice place. Ramiris so silly. The visual for the labyrinth and how it can shift is neat. Bold of you to assume people can’t carry others heh. Again, Ramiris is OP. But man that raises a lot of questions with the resurrection thing. Wew Beretta… sure taking being a tester for resurrection well. I like how Beretta uses “WARAWARA!” hehe. Just like a silly lil cute princess from last season. So who would do “hardcore mode” run of the labyrinth?

Wew Veldoura. Was that like the best dump of his life or something? Heh, using Veldoura to basically power up iron ore. That labyrinth gonna need playtesting and balancing. Milim! All three of the troublemakers here 😛

    20. CooroSnowFox on

Don’t know if trying to kill a demon summoned puppet is the best test to see if a resurrection bracelet was effective, and then just get normal people to go after it.

    21. Mobile_Blackberry298 on

Wake me up when something interesting happens. I had enough of boring meetings and no plot progression.
