Highschool of the Dead was really stupid but really enjoyable too lol. Too bad it never got a continuation. Even the manga was left unfinished since the author died.

Lycoris recoil has another project announced (which I think is great for an anime original) so it still has hope
Romantic killer pretty sure doesn’t have content anymore because it got axed unfortunately

Romantic Killer was such a goated romance anime. Damn you author for ending the manga by introducing a whole new future plotline right at the end along with the already whole lot of unresolved plot threads.
For Takt. Op, the anime is a prequel to the game, which is dead now (Global).

Many of my favorite shows are anime originals (Vivy, Lycoris, Odd Taxi, Akiba Maid War, Edgerunners, Girls Band Cry) and they are great because they are essentially written in one sitting and are complete stories. There’s a beginning and an ending, and the writers know what story they want to tell and the plot actually progress with very little filler. No sitting around indefinitely for enough manga volumes to be released to make a full season of anime. It sucks that most of those shows’ second seasons will never see the light of day, but they are still excellent complete works, and I can enjoy them as such.
