      everything is normal until last few shots

      then it’s like, “oh yeah, they did say psychological horror”

      I like how it all goes

      1. Crychic backstory from mygo pov
      2. Crychic backstory from Sakiko pov, so with edgy filter
      3. Oblivionis mask turns around and flies towards camera, as if implying it’s being put on
      4. Welcome to Oblivionis PoV: avemu concerts and mental horrors

      This will be a completely normal anime and I am completely normal about this PV.

    2. Seems this show will recontextualize some MyGO stuff like Sakiko’s character. I think the shot of her crying in the rain was new?

      Trailer gave me eerie vibes – like some shit’s about to down. Are they really turning Bandori of all things into psychological horror/thriller?

      Band animes this past few years have no reason to go that hard. Almost all of them are 10/10.

      This will need a really, really first rate story plot and screenplay to keep it up with its prequel, but IF that really happens…man, that will definitely be a classic.

      And I am calling here: **THIS will be Anime Of The Year 2025**. My vote of confidence is here.

      Unreasonably fucking excited for this. I love how out there it seems like they’re willing to go.

      We *will* be entering the world of Ave Mujica.

      I’m noticing a pattern with all these big girls band anime from the last few years:

      * Bocchi the Rock: **Fall** 2022
      * It’s MyGO!!!!!: **Summer** 2023
      * Girls Band Cry: **Spring** 2024
      * Ave Mujica: **Winter** 2025

      Also, if GBC was Bocchi’s antics and MyGo’s angst combined, then Ave Mujica might raise the latter’s drama factor up to 11.
