    1. Either that ending is the biggest tease ever, or it’s a true prophecy. I personally hope it’s the second one.

Or maybe he just died. Well I wasn’t actually concerned when he fell, I was laughing.

    2. ObvsThrowaway5120 on

Uryu’s making almost all the sisters fall in love this week. Guy’s a regular Casanova lol. First was Asahi and the store room, then it was Yuna and the cat cafe. That last part with Yae was pretty interesting. I wonder how much of that was a dream and how much of that actually happened? We really got a sneak peek into the future. At least we know he becomes a doctor.

    3. At the end there, it seems there’s some supernatural stuff happening since I heard there will be those element. The MC’s talisman still broke from being pulled by Yae, yet the MC himself didn’t have any injuries from falling that high.

    4. “If you’re scared, you can grab on to my back.”
*Proceeds to cling on to his back until sunrise*

Assuming all that actually happened and wasn’t just a dream, it’s funny imagining that someone went through the trouble of positioning Uryu’s body at his desk after being bedridden for who knows how long (depending on how hard he fell)

    5. I like how Uryu has the common sense to wear blindfolds the next time he went to Yae’s room.

We now have 3 consecutive weeks of lingerie fanservice, so maybe it will continue till the end of the season? 😀

Ecchi thoughts aside, even though this episode had 3 segments for each female protagonist, it managed to showcase even lovelier sides of Asahi, Yuna and Yae.

I believe further supernatural / fantasy aspects of this title will be revealed as the season progresses. I don’t think the storage door slamming shut and locking itself is a coincidence. The dream(?) Uryu had of the future is interesting too, although I would like to think the omamori protected him. And not forgetting the unique but cute looking black cat!

    7. Time to get these marriage meetings underway between Uryu and the Amagami sisters! And no better reason to get all dressed up in our traditional Japanese finery! First up, the youngest sister…Asahi!

Asahi is really turning up the class, charm, and beauty! Though she’s still just as playful as ever! And of course she strips out of her kimono so she can look even more spectacular in running clothes so she can Uryu can carry on this marriage meeting in Asahi’s specialty…running!

That’s right! Asahi is a track ace! And it’s not just for show because she totally outruns Uryu! She’s not just a great teaser, but a great runner too!

Asahi likes to live dangerously! Whether it be leaving the door open to the bath (so Uryu can catch her naked), slipping into his futon late at night, or making him join her in their storehouse so she can get her running shoes! Of course the God of Romcoms strikes again and traps them in said storehouse.

Asahi tries to act mature and confident, but she’s still a young girl who gets scared and needs comfort, and what better comfort than Uryu and his back? He was basically a hero for Asahi in the end, keeping her safe and secure for the whole night, and letting her know she can be her age around him. And it really seems to have charmed Asahi, even if she’s still teasing him. But it feels more genuine now.

Ugh, did Yuna deliberately have to bump Uryu? She did it RIGHT after she passed him too! Of course that means her meeting is next.

But wait…who is this woman and what did she do with Yuna? I mean, she looks amazing in kimono, but now she’s acting the part of a gentle, receptive, and proper young lady. Well, before she straight up tries to jump Uryu’s bones to make an heir to the shrine, complete with being undressed enough to flash her boobs.

Yuna is the most responsible of the sisters. That means she feels it is her duty to take these marriage meetings seriously, and the idea of continuing the family line, seriously not only just for the shrine but for her sisters too. I mean, no way can she let a “scumbag” like Uryu have his way with her sister,s right?

But Uryu takes her out to a cat cafe and lets her actually relax, unwind, and turn mushy over some cute cats. She is responsible and dutiful, but she has a responsibility to take care of herself too. This definitely earned Uryu some points with Yuna, she even got a cute cat keychain for him too, and Yuna’s bright smile is absolutely precious. Even if Uryu did ruin the mood.

Final meeting with Yae! And of course she’s nowhere to be found and of course Uryu walks in on her changing and her bountiful bosom in a bra. And then she bails on the whole thing.

What is Yae’s “maidenly secret” that made her skip the formal meeting? Was it something to do with Uryu? Her feelings towards her sister? Her own dream to be an artist?

But at least Uryu and Yae got to make their “meeting” basically a date out on the town, which is nice, and Yae knows all her sisters’ appealing qualities but makes an appeal of her own in terms of making Uryu fall for her…and her chest is definitely tempting.

What the heck just happened!? Uryu’s life flashing before his eyes? His future with the Amagami sisters, complete with Yuna studying, yukata date with Asahi, Yae naked in a hot spring, and him marrying into the family and marrying ALL THREE OF THEM!?

    8. NationalStrategy on

So did we basically just get spoiled of the ending of the series, with him becoming a doctor and ending up marrying the three sisters? We expected as much, but still.

    9. SimoneX93Kumoko on

One episode to know all 3 of them, so let the ship war begin! The ending was a good omage to the flash-forward in Quintuplets. And as always, #TeamYae

    10. Yae isn’t actually an airhead, is she? I bet that she’d left that painting of the torii gates in her room in the hopes that Uryu would find her.

However, I’m not sure if this was the role reason for Yae’s secretive behaviour. With how forward she was with Uryu in her questions, I’m almost inclined to believe that she might’ve already fallen in love with him.

There’s a bunch of supernatural stuff going on as well. Uryu’s near-death experience and the broken warding charm indicate as much, but I’m also thinking that the gust of wind that got Uryu and Asahi locked up in this storehouse might not have been an accident after all.

What if the supposed goddess we’d seen in the first episode was behind this? Like how she’d controlled the wind to help Yuna get this memento of her mother back.

    11. Every time I see the op I miss Bokuben. I might reread Sensei or Uruka route.

Anyway Asahi is top notch as usual. Yuna is too straight and Yae still free spirited. I already have a choice from the start. A relatively simple one. Just marry them all.

    12. When I saw that it would be a dating episode, I automatically thought of the cliches, but you can’t deny that it’s always fun to watch these types of things, including the classic warehouse where the doors close in a mysterious way. Although the end of the episode shows a possible prediction of the future, I highly doubt there will be a harem at the end, but who knows, maybe there will be a surprise.

In fact, I just noticed that the OP looks a lot like what we see in Visual Novels

    13. What the fuck just happened?! Is this going to have some kind of supernatural time looping twist?

    14. Vermillion_Crab on

Has it happened before? Too many winning heroines? Lol

Ichika, Yae, Kafka, Akari. Yup, definitely have a type.

    15. I think the obvious choice is the youngest sister. (When she gets older of course.)

The third sister I don’t even know what to make of that whole meeting. Is she maybe more connected to the gods where her two sisters are just normal people?

    16. I just like how they made a loli a legit winning contender and not just a token harem member like any other harem would. Also wondering will the girls have an equal amount of fanservice later too?

    17. We learn more about the girls.

      * For Asahi despite the face of wanting to be treated like an adult, she is very much acts like a kid. Her getting scared in the shed and even leaving the bathroom door after showering highlights that.
      * For Yuna her sense of duty is really extreme. Like even more than the first two episodes would indicate. Still nice of Uryu to think of ways for her relax. Also, the fact she got Uryu a keychain shows that despite her harsh words to him at times, she accepts him to some degree.
      * Yae is a mystery. She abandoned her interview, but Uryu ended up finding her. Though it could be thought that she wanted him to find her.

      Then the end was something.

    18. Past_Distribution144 on

So from this episode… Asahi is really just to young for him, so hopefully that will not advance, but it being Japan it’s possible.

Yuna has a cute side which is unexpected, wish they had put more time into that part of it, since Asahi’s story took up so much time.

And Yae just came off as annoying trying to dodge questions and running off.

Plus that ending was crazy, he was dreaming, but the talisman was there so he wasn’t? Hopefully it was *just* a dream, Harem ending sucks, it’s just not feasible and super unrealistic, hate that in slice of life shows.

We finally get to know more about the sisters in this episode! Asahi isn’t just a bratty imouto but [she’s also the star athlete of their track team.](https://i.imgur.com/tVNsL3w.png) This reminds me, we’re already three episodes in but we still haven’t seen them at school. Is it currently summer vacation or are scenes set in their schools irrelevant to the series?

So we learn that [Asahi has a fear of tight spaces](https://i.imgur.com/ABBKsox.jpeg) which would explain [why she keeps the bathroom door open](https://i.imgur.com/e4OSFUf.jpeg) whenever she takes baths. I wouldn’t be surprised if the two of them getting locked in that shed is because of the shrine god. Episode 1 did hint that this show has supernatural elements to it.

[It’s so strange seeing Yuna going all out for that marriage interview](https://i.imgur.com/yKcuNXJ.jpeg) considering how she’s not really into the idea of marrying Uryuu. It turns out she placed it on herself to “protect” [her sisters from Uryuu](https://i.imgur.com/pCaoOtw.jpeg) as if he was some sort of evil yokai. xD

I’m glad Uryuu got Yuna to open up though [after a little visit to a cat cafe.](https://i.imgur.com/zCma0lq.jpeg) Our boy Uryuu is really doing well [at winning over the sisters so far.](https://i.imgur.com/1eeFCft.jpeg)

The start of that marriage interview with Yae [was definitely different compared to the other two!](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/p7bwcrvwd87.jpg) So far though, I think Yae has got to be my favourite. She seems to be an airhead but [there’s also an air of mystery around her.](https://i.imgur.com/jGL7TRl.jpeg) It feels like we haven’t really seen the real Yae and that she’s actually just playing a character.

That final scene was interesting though! Instead of his life flashing through his eyes, it looks like Uryuu somehow [saw his future](https://i.imgur.com/b0mtVLu.jpeg) and ends up marrying all three sisters. If that’s the case, I am [looking forward to the onsen trip with Yae.](https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/6yxkclmaqj7.jpg) It really looks like this series will be leaning heavily on to some supernatural stuff considering how Uryuu woke up completely fine even after falling down the shrine steps.
