Was nice to see them work together to kick some ass! Double badasses.

If it’s going to be like this I’m all in, the couple that kicks ass together stays together.

    2. Yoshino is still nursing a sold kidney, which makes it even harder to deal with Kirishima’s nonsense and the fact that he won’t leave her alone with his overflowing version of love…especially because he has a GPS tracking her! But at least he admitted it, right?

I love how “goddamn” is becoming Yoshino’s catchphrase because of the immense frustration she continually has to put up with.

Well, so much for staying away from Kirishima, with a missing girl from Akaza Enterprises, they need someone to stay with Yoshino to keep her safe and that’s Kirishima. But at least he takes out to fancy dinners, right?

Honestly I don’t think Kirishima would mind if Yoshino went nuts and killed him, but he seems to love treating her nevertheless. It’s just too bad for Ysohino the first person to confess feelings to her is a nutjob she has no interest in falling for.

Oh, so Kirishima isn’t actually the Miyama grandson, since Gaku is just his granduncle. Does make me wonder how much he actually cares about Kirishima, considering he seemed content to leave him to his own devices whether he ended up alive or dead.

Inomata is the (genuinely) nicest guy Yoshino has met up to this point and even he’s unsettled by Kirishima. But wouldn’t you be if he was a middle-schooler who beat 20 people up, broke their bones, and basically got shipped off by his parents to join a Yakuza family?

Yoshino couldn’t leave well enough alone when she spots Shiori Akaza and recruits Kirishima (especially since it’s one of her families’ clubs) and stumbles into intrigue with underground gambling, the Filipino Mafia, and a girl trying to get out of dodge. And it gets worse when the Filipino Mafia come back to collect what they’re owed.

Oof, poor Yoshino. Though then Kirishima goes crazy and starts beating everybody up, but Yoshino isn’t some damsel in distress, she’ll beat a dude up with her brand new hair dryer for even laying a hand on her! Even if she didn’t knock him out, she still contributed, and Kirishima is happy to beat a guy to death for touching his girl.

Well, the Akaza’s are lucky to still be alive, Kirishima got off with just a scolding (and by “scolding,” I mean getting beat up), and for Yoshino’s trouble Kirishma gives her five million yen! How else to prove the sincerity of his feelings? Well, he could sell an organ too, but Yoshino is just satisfied dragging him with her to buy a new hair dryer!

Oh hey, it’s that other guy from the OP/ED! And he’s already watching Kirishima and Yoshino, with him and Kirishima testing each others’ measure.

    3. Yoshino is something. Beating a mafia goon with a hairdresser while nursing a kidney removal is impressive to say the least…

This duo is frankly scary and badass so I’m gonna enjoy watching them this season.

    4. There are two shots in the OP that I absolutely love. The first one is where [Yoshino is pulling down Kirishima’s shirt](https://i.imgur.com/mG185bd.jpeg) to reveal his back tattoo and [the one where Kirishima is hugging Yoshino from behind.](https://i.imgur.com/jk7z7Lm.jpeg) They are such an attractive couple!

[Wait, so Yoshino really did sell her kidney?!](https://i.imgur.com/xWgdwxj.jpeg) This girl is nuts! I thought it might be a joke. Also, it looks like [Yoshino did manage to tame Kirshima](https://i..com/FmpIztU.jpeg) and all it took [was for her to be honest and mean to him.](https://i.imgur.com/LyXOFvm.jpeg) He wasn’t kidding when he told her he was a masochist. xD

So from what we’ve learned about Kirishima’s backstory in this episode, [after beating up 20 kids when he was in middle school](https://i.imgur.com/2aLoiI6.jpeg) he ended up being sent to his granduncle [because his parents have run out of options](https://i.imgur.com/dlk8Q08.png) which eventually lead to him becoming a yakuza. I do wonder what started that incident though.

Not gonna lie, I wasn’t really sure [why Kirishima and Yoshino had to involve themselves](https://i.imgur.com/L2yitX4.jpeg) with that missing daughter of a branch family but now that we know she ripped off [500 million yen from the Filipino mafia](https://i.imgur.com/c38Mld5.jpeg), it was definitely going to be a problem for the entire family if she doesn’t get found and return the money.

Also, can I just say it’s hilarious to hear the words “Filipino mafia” in an anime? As someone from the PH, they 100% exist but we’ve never really called them that. We commonly call them “sindikato” or syndicates.

I’m so glad to see [Yoshino jumping in on the fight!](https://i.imgur.com/d8aDZdo.jpeg) I thought it was all going to be Kirishima giving the beatdown. I’d be down to see more of Yoshino in fights!

[And we finally get to meet the other dude in the ED.](https://i.imgur.com/pyVOWjG.jpeg) He’s definitely hot but I’m curious how this dude will get close to Yoshino considering Kirishima is almost always with her.

    5. Absolutely loved Yoshino for this ep. Hope this cleared up all the chatter about whether Yoshino was faking being a badass or not. she absolutely killed this episode

Yoshino x Kirishima dynamic wad too funny to see animated. Can’t wait to see what other shenanigans they’ll get up to

Plus that Shouma reveal at the end 👁️👄👁️ i guess ep 3 gonna be a spicy one

    6. I like this episode quite a bit more than the first where imo Kirishima way way over the top. Hope they’ll manage to keep hitting this tone cus then I can see this become one of my favourites of the season.

    7. I went into this anime with no prior knowledge, and now I’m hooked! I love the vibrant, retro-inspired (?) color palette as well as the chaotic energy of Somei and Miyama. The episodes go by so fast, I lose track of time while watching. I can’t wait for more ✨

Yoshino’s becoming quite the little mob princess lol. I like that she ain’t afraid to get her hands dirty. Straight up bashed that dude in the head with her blow dryer.

Kirishima’s like a little psychotic puppy. Yoshino’s got herself a real handful following her around lol.

I love how put of place this pair is at their school. But this romance is a grade above the typical stale school romcom. You’d never see the typical limp shounen romance male lead stab someone in the eye with a fork! And Yoshino is just as crazy… she actually did sell her kidney (and had to take a transplant afterwards…) and doesn’t shrink from violence herself. Love it, and love them. They are funny in their mutual toxicity and all the crime shenanigans are entertaining to watch. If only the animation would match whats in the OP and ED, but oh well… can’t have it all.

    10. Despite all the indications that Kirishima is basically a psychopath, I still was not ready for the unprovoked eye-forking. Probably not a coincidence that his eye gets injured when he is disciplined for the club aftermath. The fact that he just took out everyone in the VIP room except for Yoshina and Shiori speaks volumes about the level of strategy that he is bringing into these confrontations.

Anyway, best romance where the male MC is a violent masochist with a death-wish I have seen in … ever.

    11. Geez I thought she was faking selling a kidney. That is nuts. She might be as crazy as he is in her own way. So when des she start gettign inked?
