I love how this series knows it’s ridiculous and just leans in to that. Hilarious and great combat scenes in each ep so far, and each character feels like their own chuuni edgy fantasy type.

Thought the chances are slim, I am actually hoping Meru, who (mistakenly) ships Hikaru and Aki, gets her own mecha-ude.
I suppose Hikaru and Alma are an outlier duo, especially since they aren’t connected physically, only through the hoodie?

The first half was so goofy it really looked like a Trigger anime not made by Trigger. The bit with the toilet paper was hilarious, and so were Aki’s expressions. And they managed to give a disembodied arm so much personality!
Honestly right now I love this. It’s fun and I’m really looking forward to the rest of it.

one thing that annoys me, I know it’s to have some plot point but it kinda sucks that alma is stuck to his sweater not to his body like it “is supposed to be”. but I can already imagine there will be some kidnapping plot point. and the predictability of it is what annoys me.

– I love how both Hikaru and Aki got told by their partners they can’t run in the hallway, and Hikaru said that doesn’t matter right now while Aki’s solution was just “Alright, then *fly*.”, haha.
– There is something *incredibly* ironic about Tomokazu Sugita and Yuuichi Nakamura voicing a pair of brothers that look extremely similar in this, assuming you’re a Gintama fan and remember who those two played in that. [](#crazedlaugh)

of course Fist, the left side of Trigger Arm is being voiced by Nakamura Yuichi while Alma is being voiced by Sugita Tomokazu, now we just need Mafia Kajita to make a voice cameo somewhere in this show and the trio will be complete

The series definetely has more comedy than the initial OVA, which is good. Hope it will continue to balance things further.
Also uh, this episode has confirmed something that’s been bugging me since last week regarding Aki’s choice of fashion. Her skirt’s noticeably shorter than Meru’s which seems dangerous given all the [jumping and flipping around](https://files.catbox.moe/7xiwug.webm) she does.
