    1. It’s been forever since I did any digital art, was never particularly good, weak amateur at best… But I saw some cool work recently that was anime style with a more classical painting-like approach. I really liked it and was inspired to try picking up digital art again! Watched some tutorials, downloaded Krita, and several hours later here I am.

Obviously quite incomplete, but since it’s my first time trying this style and I have barely any idea what I’m doing, I figured I’d ask for some feedback early on in the process!

Few things I’ve noticed while posting this:

      – face probably needs more shading / lighting, feels flat
      – bottom of hair is “floating” in front of the body, not touching it
      – nose / mouth feels way off still (I just finished redoing the eyes from an initially much more line-y version)
      – chair shape feels off
      – the trim on the clothes is messy (and I think it’s supposed to be a round spiral)

Very open to any thoughts & advice!
