I might come to regret selling my soul to this (again) since I’m terrible at keeping up with politics. But it will be worth to see Ars and Licia marry.

It’s great to see Ars and Licia agreeing to get married already instead of putting it hold. Licia’s dad seems like a really good guy with how quickly he gave his endorsement.

Lord Raven returns to narration to catch us up on the political landscape for cour 2! Meanwhile Ars and co. is on their way to a war room and Mireille and Charlotte are just enjoying the ride like they don’t have a care in the world!

Charlotte legs! Can’t beat the feel and view of the ocean, even if saltwater doesn’t taste great, but it just goes to show how far Charlotte has come from being an orphan on the streets to having so much of the world opened up to her through her time with Ars. And now she’s got a whole friend group she can run away with when they get into trouble after she blows @#$% up!

Ars feels really out of place in a group of nobles, and they don’t seem to think highly of him, but at least he’s got Lumeire and Couran there to give him proper due! Especially when he’s got Mireille in his retinue now and she’ll be a vital asset in the war effort against Vasmarque.

Couran has the seeming numbers advantage, but Vasmarque might have more talent and nobles keep flocking to his side. Luckily Ars’ team has top tier strategists and tactical geniuses who know how to come up with a plan that will achieve their goals without leaving them vulnerable! All they have to do is bribe an Emperor or the power BEHIND said Emperor! Easy enough, right?

But who can they rely on for political negotiation and backroom dealings? Why, Best Girl Licia, of course! Who is as head over heels in love with Ars as ever and would rather spend her time showing Ars around her domain and her greenhouse filled with the flowers he gave her before getting to political talk.

Did anyone actually expect Licia to say no? She follows her own will, and her will is to service and be there for Ars, all she asks is his hand in marriage once things have settled down after the war. But Licia’s genuine love and loyalty to him deserves to be responded in kind, so Ars confesses his own feelings to her and proposes marriage right then and there! These two are now official! Complete with sharing their first kiss in silhouette!

I kind of feel bad for Lord Hammond having his daughter get married so suddenly, but at least he respects that it’s what Licia wants. And all that political negotiation takes a backseat to a fabulous marriage celebration!

Pham has narrowed down Lica’s target to Minister Shakma! He’s not ready to face off against Licia.

The ED is super cute and adorable with chibi and cartoony versions of Ars and his people in their sweet and happy daily lives together, featuring Ars handholding with Licia and plenty of fun times! Even seems like they featured some new characters.

It’s awesome that [Couran is letting everyone know that Ars is important to him](https://i.imgur.com/JfhgHe5.jpeg) but I feel like if he continues to show Ars too much favour in his court, Ars might end up making enemies.

I definitely did not expect [this episode to end with Ars and Licia getting married!](https://i.imgur.com/bViZLHb.jpeg) While it’s not an actual ceremony it’s still nice to see. I wouldn’t;t be surprised if we end the season with them getting married with a big ceremony.
