    1. I Enjoyed this a lot more than i expected. The contrast between art style and The violence was The best. It also had a huge world buidling that i didnt expect

I know this kind of shows hardly gets a S2 but if It happens fir sure i Will be there

    2. It’s the last episode and it just so happened to be the least dungeony one. Instead we got a biodome. How crazy is that?

There’s something kinda hilarious seeing a big burly Minotaur grazing like a cow. I mean it kinda *is* a cow, but still pretty funny.

I really liked that whole trek through the hunting grounds and exploring what monsters eat. After that crystal business, I think Belle might be the Dungeon Core. Just a wild guess.

This was actually quite fun. Cute, but also brutal at times. I really liked the dynamic between Belle and Clay. The whole dungeon management aspect was interesting too. Out of all the monsters, I think the golems were my favorite. They’re pretty cute! I wonder if we’ll get an s2?

    4. A grazing minotaur, surprising to see but it also makes sense.

This idea behind using the golems for everything because it’s good enough amuses me. There’s a saying “perfect is the enemy of good” which can be interpreted both directions, sometimes you need perfection but sometimes you just need good enough.

Time for the dungeon’s periodic ~~oil change~~ crystal change.

Silly Clay, insisted on carrying the giant crystal that entire distance.

History will say they were roommates.

Pretty fun show, there’s clearly more story to tell in regards to Clay’s dad (and maybe her biological parents too) but it felt fairly final.

Loved the show, with one major complaint: She never completed floor 9! Like c’mon, made it all the way to the floor boss only to never again challenge him? Even with being allowed to continue attempting it !

Indeed, historians will say they where ~~coworkers~~ ~~allies~~ ~~roomates~~ friends [](#forbiddenlove)

Besides that, it was nice too see some familiar faces going about their [normal](https://imgur.com/CvDwxCe) day, poor [Binky](https://imgur.com/R1wFAXr) though

With those new revelations about the artificial dungeon core, the mystery around the predecessor is growing, I wonder if there is an connection to Clays adoptive father.

But it was nice to be reminded how hard Belle is working to further and further improve the dungeon

This was quite a nice show, nothing fancy, but still cosy and engaging. Would love to get more of this, but I think the chances for that are slim at best [](#salute)

    7. …So the golems are computers replacing human craftsmen by being more efficient while not obsessing over stupid things. RIP

    8. The hunting grounds look so great! If I were Clay I’d spend all my free time there. I wonder if the artificial sun feels warm like the real one?

And I got a good laugh out of the minotaur just sprawled on the ground munching on some grass. He looked so happy too!

Ah, this was such a nice, comfy little show (with the occasional bout of gruesome violence) about the inner workings of a dungeon. But we still don’t know what became of Clay’s father so even though it probably won’t happen I’d love to see another season!

    9. This was pretty fun despite being a low budget show. I really like the MCs and their adventures together. It had some decent action sequences as well. Just quite charming all around.

An idea that popped up in my head while they were talking about the dungeon core. What if it starts to break at some point in the future and Belle has to figure out how to create a new one? I feel like that would be a pretty good way for her to surpass her predecessor. Clay is always training to get better so it makes sense for her girlfriend, oh, excuse me, boss, to have to improve as well.

One last thing. If you really want more dungeon world building and you’ve already watched Dungeon Meshi, may I recommend reading the Reign of the seven spellblades light novels? The tone is quite different and the dungeon world building thing is more of a side part that pops up sometimes but I think there’s genuinely some pretty interesting stuff in there. Just a thought that popped up in my head while they were in the grass plains.

    10. This show really grew on me over time! I would certainly like to see more of Clay and Belle in a season 2 if they ever make one, though I’m not sure what the odds are that it’ll happen.

    11. When Belle mentioned that the monsters were hunting their food inside of the dungeon, I really feared for a bit that they were preying on adventurers to eat.

Since this anime likes to catch me off-guard with sinister undertones, I was positively surprised that the monsters at this nature habitat didn’t proof very different from regular animals in their feeding habits.

Pekkomo, the minotaur, grazing on his belly like a cow was a surprising sight to see nonetheless. Now that he’s taught Clay the wonders of grass, Furin’s attempts at trying to teach her about proper food have been somewhat ruined. (Never change, Clay.)

I really liked Dungeon People! It’s a fun take on the world of dungeon by focusing less on the “crawling” and more on the mechanics of this oddly managed dungeon through the eyes of two cute girls, while not shying away from the occasional violence either.

There’s still many questions to be answered, like the disappearances of both Clay’s father (where did he go?) and Belle’s past (is she even human?), but I found this to be a satisfactory ending in its own right with Belle and Clay having found a dear friend in each other. That’s worth something too!

    12. Love the show, a perfect example of picking a simpler artstyle but nailing it is 100% better than trying for good looks and failing

I was hoping we would get more of our questions answered, but they did non of that. I am actually glad they didnt, keeps it more mysterious and fun

And seeing Clay wanting to try eating Pekkomos grass is a perfect final gag

Man I am really hoping we get a continuation, but I will definetely check out the manga

    13. This show is one of the highlights of the season for me, and it’s in the running for my Dark Horse award. It wasn’t tremendously deep, didn’t have the subtlety of a truly great show, and the animation wasn’t spectacular… but I loved every episode for the charm, characters, and world building. Especially the more “matter of fact” stuff where they just showed mundane routines, because that really appealed to the realist in me. No need to over-complicate things, just apply the KISS principle.

Had a Trysail OP as well. Last one that I added to my playlist was two years ago from Aharen-san, so it was nice to hear another example of their cheerful sound.

    14. No more dungeon people Fridays… I´m sad it ended, but I really really enjoyed it and I hope we get a S2.

We got to see how monsters eat (that was a question I had a while ago…) and it seems that this dungeon is maintained by a synthetic core, not a normal one. That´s why is so… special among other it seems.

I really loved the last scene: Belle showing her (only) friend [her favourite place](https://imgur.com/a/MYONxua), it was really beautiful. First, Belle was alone (without counting Rangard), without no friend who actually talk to… but suddenly she met Clay, and that was the end of it.
Now they have [each](https://imgur.com/a/XMEbKTm) [other](https://imgur.com/a/HOjiXRa), and they both won´t be alone.

Without any doubt, my favourite anime of this season <3
