I think this is just anime production companies outsourcing the animators to korea. Cause this is a literal map of Seoul just rotated. Then made into a circle and to look medieval.

Why is every western fantasy town in anime always a ringed city? Most fortes cities were star patterns or oblong. I know it’s a nit pick but why?
