In 2023, the staff and cast will be renewed as a new TV anime series, with the first season of 24 episodes broadcast in July 2023, and the second season, “Kyoto Uprising”, will be broadcast in October 2024. The original work by Watsuki Nobuhiro began serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” in 1994, and was first made into a TV anime in 1996.
