You can never find as pure of a person embodying the idea of *ressentinent* as 9S. A loss of meaning, a loss of purpose, and a pure hatred towards his perceived cause of suffering for that is the only thing within his capacity. Letting go of revenge is easy to say, but what’s there to be left of him if that ceases of existence as well?
Which is why it is almost impossible to remove his desire of avenging against A2, as that is the only thing that keeps him going, the only thing that defines his being.
We getting close to The ending(unless theres a surprise annoucement) and holy shit, this Cour 2 has been just stabs to my Heart

Pour one out for Devola and Popola, man. Damn. Two more senseless deaths. All of the androids have died for nothing. Everything was just bullshit from the get-go. Humanity fucked off and died ages ago. Whoever they were fighting fucked off alongside them. This whole “war” with the machines was as pointless as their very existence. They were nothing but sacrificial pawns created to perpetuate and protect a lie. Fuck, man. That’s depressing…

So every time 9S faps it will be 2B giving him a handjob but considering he’s infected by a virus I don’t think he’s going to experience it.
Anyway the final twin is dead and 9S is infected, unless she gets killed A2 will be the final android standing. 🙁
Which side do you think is right? There is no correct or wrong answer. If I put myself in 9S shoe, I don’t think I can handle any of them. He watches everyone he loved, he cared, and he tried so hard to protect, just fall one by one.
Well here we are at the end. can’t wait to see how they handle it compared to the game

Cour 1 had its stumbling points, but none of that even matters anymore because cour 2 has been a masterpiece. As a long time fan of Nier hats off to A1 for delivering this heartbreakingly beautiful adaptation of one of my favorite stories oat. The tower sequence is my favorite part of the game with *The Tower* being my favorite song off the entire soundtrack, so I was anxious that it wouldn’t live up to my expectations in the anime. Clearly that anxiety was totally unfounded though given that, much like the game, these past few weeks of the anime have been my favorite of the entire run!
I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the finale next week! I always hate to see stories I love come to a close, but at the same time next week can’t come soon enough.
I have a lot of thoughts and i don’t even know if most of them don’t belong in the source corner, so i am just going to say this is going to be a very long week waiting for the final episode.
How dare they put the cliffhanger right at THAT moment

Another awesome episode from A-1. We’re almost at the end now 😢 the big confrontation between 9s and A2 finally here. Next week is going to be amazing. Lot of stuff I really loved in this episode too.
First of all, it’s supposed to be a serious moment but A2 cutting off Devola head without a moment of hesitation is killing me 😭 But yes, Devola and Popola you were useful and you never had anything to make up for. You did nothing wrong. Project Gestalt was doomed from the start.
9s seiyuu gotta get an award man that was an amazing performance during the fake 2B fight and the way he conveys his pain is second to none. The nerve of the AI to try and trick 9s like he don’t know every single detail about 2B and her fighting style lol
A2 having to ask pod for help and thank him because she didn’t know how to hack was so cute. Love my tsun tsun queen. So she finally knows the truth about humanity being extinct. All you can do is laugh really just like she did, you live your whole life fighting this war and following orders just to learn it was all fake.
It’s funny how in the end androids and machines alike want to become just like humans.. can’t wait for the finale
With Devola and Popola gone (at the hands of A2, oh my god) I can’t help but think about how now on this wretched planet the only thinking beings are the two remaining Yorha and their Pods. How I wish the next episode was at least an hour long, but I’m not counting on it.
