    1. Oh god that character designs reminds me of Wizard Barristers which is not the best show to be reminded of.

Hopefully this one ends up a lot better than that show.

    2. Well that looks quite interesting. That said, whether or not the writing can actually carry all of that is another matter entirely.

But i am curious to know more about this. So i’d say that’s a good start.

I had heard quite a few things about Umetsu’s previous works but have never seen one so far (his OP/ED animation lately are excellent though), I’ve never been a gore+sex R18 works fan but who knows what will happen here to really lure this SHAFT fan to try this out?

    4. I don’t usually look much into anime movies but I might have to make an exception here, god DAMN.

    5. Interesting, the style is certainly a call back to his old OVAs, wonder if the story would be as grim.

    6. I unironically enjoyed his films for the plot. The opening gunfight in Mezzo Forte is exquisite. Cut out the smut and you still have a slick film that looks and runs great.

    7. The info that Umetsu was doing an original at Shaft has been circulating through the grapevine for *a while* so it’s nice to finally see it oficially announced.

    8. I found the cut from the shower scene with water washing blood off directly to a scene with blood dripping down instead, to be quite awesome.

Hope its a good story as it reminds me of Kite.
Could do without the sex scenes this time round

    9. Yasuomi Umetsu + Shaft

Bruh fick them other Aniplex announcements from today, this is the real shit.

The directors old work „Kite” is also getting a definitive remaster soon so please check it out. Its the best „hentai” you will ever watch (if you can stomach the disturbing themes and content)

    10. First of all, this teaser visual looks great. Give a gun to a cute girl and my interest is piqued.

Secondly, I’m pretty sure that she and a good part of the cast are humanoids after having watched the PV (looked great btw). Her movement and behaviour certainly don’t seem entirely human. This would perhaps also explain the cold stare in her eyes.

So it appears that we’re getting treated to an anime about some hitman androids fighting each other with deadly weapons?

    11. I’ll watch this just for the character designs alone. I adored them all the way back in Kite and Mezzo. And I watched Wizard Barrister and Kokkoku because of them.

What I didn’t expect was this being produced by Shaft. No wonder the trailer looks so rad.
