In regard to the title, Broly in Super is so different than the original that there’s no point in comparing them.
Super Broly is just an ignorant nice guy with anger issues.
While the original Broly was Saiyan wrath personified.
Honestly, the only thing wrong with the original Broly was his dumb reason for hating Goku.
Other than that, in his first movie he was one of the most badass villains of the franchise.
