Second half of this show is the very definition of spinning your wheels. But, Aoi Yuuki is in it and playing a cool looking character, so there’s that.

    2. From the 2015 anime adaptation of Rokka no Yuusha/Braves of the 6 Flowers, adapting the 1st out of 6 light novels by Yamagata Ishio.

The anime’s director, Takahashi Takeo, [said in an interview that the anime’s visuals and world were highly influenced by his love of Central/South American history and culture.](https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/advertorial/2015-11-08/rokka-braves-of-the-six-flowers-interview-with-director-takahashi/.94992)

IIRC this take was an anime-original addition, given the rather vague description of the world setting in the novels.
