It’s also nice to see anime that usually don’t have a shot at making these charts when going up against hugely popular and long-running series did so this time around. Anime originals definitely benefited from the one-cour criterium.
I am a bit curious why so many people voted Bocchi The Rock, because that one is almost certainly getting another season. And Lycoris Recoil even got a sequel *and* spin-off series announced!

Surprised to see Sora Yori at the top, but glad to see some of these on here like Girls’ Last Tour and Bocchi. With all that said though, Madoka, Violet Evergarden, Tatami Galaxy and No Game No Life are not single cour shows and Baccano!, Death Parade and Odd Taxi are fringe cases.
It’s kinda doomed if we can’t even get this one right (in terms of including stuff that doesn’t fit).

With a lot of Shoujo and Josei series often getting only one cour I was hoping to see a few more titles here. But in the whole top 100 are only two Josei with Given and Sakamichi no Apollon as far as I can see.
