On one hand, I’m all for quirky romcoms set in different regions of Japan (looking at you, Hokkaido Gals).
On the other… this is being done by Millepensee. A studio with a certain reputation. Berserk 2016, So I’m A Spider, So What, I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too, Cop Craft, Teekyu… even the PV shows us that the animation will be limited at best.
Hopefully the voice cast and script are good. At this point, it needs it.
