Designed this along with a friend of mine, inspired by the one and only, Miyamoto Musashi.
The ring was chosen in a design contest by Howlet Designs and will now be available to purchase beginning August 1st through their website.
This year’s design contest theme was: MYTHICAL. Wanting to stray away from the more typical concepts, my friend and I decided to go with a lesser known definition of the word, (idealised, especially with reference to the past) and were inspired by Musashi, a man so revered he has reached an almost legendary status. We created this design to appreciate his life, teachings, arts.. Over the moon about it being chosen, being able to physically wear this ring serves as a tangible reminder of the values/ambitions we aspire to, and maybe some of y’all may feel the same.
